Reports have emerged in the media that the Russian Football Union intends to introduce a special fine for insulting chants directed at the 'Zenit' team in stadiums. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Recently, the chant "Zenit is the disgrace of Russian football" has been frequently heard in stadiums. However, a source familiar with the situation stated that the information regarding a new specific fine is not true.

According to him, the reports about a new separate fine are fabricated. He also emphasized that no changes can be made to the disciplinary regulations during the season.

It is worth noting that the 'Zenit' team played against the CSKA club at home on Sunday within the Premier League. The match ended in a 1:1 draw.

Thus, reports about the introduction of a special fine for the chant being said in stadiums have not been confirmed so far. Officially, no new regulations have been implemented in this regard.
