Kiryakov: Glushenkov is not fully demonstrating his potential

According to some media sources, midfielder Maksim Glushenkov is dissatisfied with his situation at Zenit. There are rumors that he has had disagreements with coach Sergey Semak due to the limited playing time he is receiving.

Sergey Kiryakov emphasized that Maksim Glushenkov is a problematic player and requires a special approach. However, this does not mean that he should be coddled or looked down upon.

Every player must meet the requirements set by the coach. If a player does not fulfill these requirements, he should sit on the bench and reflect on himself.

According to Kiryakov, if Maksim does not properly channel his talent, he may harm his career. This season, 26-year-old Glushenkov has appeared on the field four times.

However, he has not yet been able to please Zenit fans with effective actions. Yesterday, the Zenit team played to a 1:1 draw against CSKA.
