Former Cameroon national team head coach Valeriy Nepomnyashiy shared his thoughts in an interview with the “Euro-Football” publication about the numerous players from “Spartak” being sent off the field at the beginning of the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that currently, the players of the “Spartak” team are acting very excitedly and nervously. As a result, they often receive red cards.
Nepomnyashiy explained this situation as a result of nervousness and pressure within the team. In the last two matches, “Spartak” players were sent off the field three times.
Specifically, in the second round match against “Baltika,” Anton Zabolotny and Markinyos received red cards and had to leave the team. In the third round, at the end of the first half of the Russian championship match against “Akron,” Daniil Khlusevich received a red card.
These incidents indicate the internal problems of the team at the beginning of the season and the players' nervousness. According to the expert, in such situations, the team management and coaching staff need to pay attention to the players' mental state.
