Fencing. The Uzbekistan Championship among athletes under 20 years old has concluded in Tashkent

The Uzbekistan Championship in fencing for athletes under 20 years old held at the "Pakhtakor" fencing sports complex in Tashkent has come to an end. About 90 athletes from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the city of Tashkent participated in the competitions.

The championship lasted for a week, with intense competition in individual and team events in the disciplines of foil, épée, and sabre.

Results among girls:

In the individual events among girls, Karina Qurbanova (National Club) won the gold medal. Darina Bobojonova (Tashkent) took 2nd place. Viktoriya Tarshilova (Tashkent) and Dilnaz Usnatjonova (NOPSTM) shared 3rd place.

Results among boys:

The boys' events concluded with the victory of Shonnazar Obilov (Nukus Center for Preparing for Olympic and Paralympic Sports). Saidibrohim Olimov (National Club) secured 2nd place, while Nurkeldi Nurganboyev (NOPSTM) and Azizbek Karimboyev (Tashkent) took 3rd place.

Results in team events:

In the team events among girls, the "Tashkent-2" team emerged victorious and claimed the highest podium of the championship. The "Karakalpakstan-1" team took 2nd place, while the "Tashkent-1" and "Karakalpakstan-2" teams shared 3rd place.

In the boys' team competitions, the "Karakalpakstan-1" team took 1st place. The "Tashkent-1" team secured 2nd place, while the "Karakalpakstan-2" and "Karakalpakstan-3" athletes took 3rd place.
