According to Mail Sport, the newly promoted Premier League club Burnley has made an official inquiry to sign the Danish player.
Currently, 33-year-old Kristian Eriksen has not played for any team since leaving Manchester United. He spent three years with Manchester United.
Prior to that, he also played for England's Brentford and Tottenham clubs. Overall, the player has made 310 appearances in the English Premier League, scoring 55 goals and providing 81 assists.
It is worth noting that Burnley finished second in the Championship this season, earning direct promotion to the English top division. The club intends to strengthen its squad with experienced players for the new season.
