Zenit expressed interest in the transfer of Isak Romero

Sevilla football club striker Isak Romero may continue his career at one of the leading teams in the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to local sources, Russia's Zenit club has expressed interest in acquiring the 25-year-old footballer. Representatives of the Andalusian club have indicated their readiness to negotiate the player's transfer.

However, they expect a bid of at least 20 million euros for Isak Romero's transfer. Nevertheless, the player himself has stated that he does not wish to leave Sevilla this summer.

Last season, Isak Romero played a total of 32 matches, scoring five goals and providing two assists to his teammates. The striker's current contract with Sevilla club runs until the end of June 2028.

For this reason, the club does not intend to easily let the player go to another team. Zenit is currently negotiating the player's transfer.

No final decision has yet been made regarding Isak Romero's future.
