In his interview, Roman Pavlyuchenko mentioned that living abroad was quite challenging for him during the first two years. According to him, the main problem was the language barrier.
He emphasized that due to not knowing English, he faced difficulties in daily life as well as in relationships with teammates. He also noted that he always wanted to return to his homeland.
It is worth mentioning that Roman Pavlyuchenko is a former striker of the Russian national team. He played for Tottenham from 2008 to 2012.
During this period, he appeared in a total of 113 matches, scoring 42 goals and providing 10 assists. Roman Pavlyuchenko ended his football career in 2022.
His last club was Znamya Truda from Noginsk.
