Former football player Vladimir Sochnov explained the early season failures of Moscow's “Spartak” team by the team's defensive play and lack of discipline. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, head coach Stankovich is becoming nervous as he realizes there are no results. The team lacks discipline, and the playing system has not been established.
Sochnov pointed out that questions arise about whether Stankovich does not give clear instructions before matches or does not analyze the games, as the same mistakes are being repeated in every game.
In particular, there are serious problems in the defensive line. Sochnov recommended that the “Spartak” coaching staff try one of the forwards in the defense line to strengthen it.
According to him, the team's weak defense is causing the results to not meet expectations. In the current season, “Spartak” has conceded a total of eight goals in the first four matches of the Russian championship.
The team has only four points. This has led to the “red-whites” showing poor results at the start of the championship.
Experts emphasize that the team's problems mainly stem from defensive errors and lack of discipline.
