The head coach of the "Akhmat" football club in Grozny, Stanislav Cherchesov, supported Deyan Stankovich, the head coach of the Moscow "Spartak" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Previously, there were reports that Cherchesov could replace the Serbian specialist at "Spartak." In his interview, Stanislav Cherchesov mentioned that he always worries about his colleagues.
He emphasized that Deyan Stankovich is currently the head coach of "Spartak" and wished him good luck. He also added that time will show whether Stankovich was rushed in his decision or not.
Cherchesov stated that he feels completely comfortable. He also mentioned that it is not right to talk about being invited to "Spartak," as no one has offered him to this club.
In the fourth round of the Russian Premier League, Cherchesov made his debut as the head coach of "Akhmat" and won 1:0 against "Zenit." Meanwhile, in the Moscow derby, "Spartak" lost 2:4 to "Lokomotiv."
