Dmitriy Parfyonov, a former player and coach of the "Spartak" football club in Moscow, recently highlighted a positive aspect during the Russia Cup match between "Spartak" and the "Dinamo" team from Makhachkala. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the main positive aspect of the game was the nearly 17,000 fans who arrived at the stadium at nine o'clock in the evening. Parfyonov believes that the presence of thousands of fans who came to support the team during such a difficult time is of great importance.
It should be noted that "Spartak" faced another failure in this match. The game ended in a draw at the end of regular time.
However, in the penalty shootout, the Makhachkala "Dinamo" team prevailed and achieved victory. In the final minutes of the game, "Spartak" head coach Deyan Stankovich left his position and went to the dressing room before the referee's final whistle.
This result was tough for the "Spartak" team. Nevertheless, the loyalty of the fans and their constant support for the team serve as a significant boost for the club.
In this way, coach Parfyonov also emphasized that it is possible to look to the future of the team with hope.
