The Italian football club Roma is showing serious interest in Aston Villa striker Leon Bailey. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Athletic publication also reported on this. So far, no official offer has been made for the player’s transfer, but the Roma management is determined to add this player to their squad.
According to information, the club plans to initially take Leon Bailey on loan and later have the option to buy him outright. Leon Bailey's contract with Aston Villa is valid until the summer of 2027.
According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is estimated at 28 million euros. Currently, Roma is considering all possibilities to complete this transfer.
If negotiations conclude positively, Leon Bailey could start playing in the Italian league from the next season. The club management believes that the player's experience and skills will benefit the team.
