Francisco Trinkao is now officially a full Sporting player. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club purchased the remaining 50 percent of his rights from Barcelona for 11 million euros. In the summer of 2023, the Lisbon club had already spent 7 million euros to acquire the first half of the player's rights.
Last season, Trinkao was the main player leading Sporting's attacks, scoring 11 goals and providing 19 assists in 54 matches. According to Transfermarkt, the Portuguese player's current value is 35 million euros.
The French forward played for Barcelona from 2020 to 2023, after which he transferred to the Portuguese club. This transfer is expected to further strengthen Sporting's attacking line.
