David Beckham and Gary Neville have purchased an English club — the goal is the Premier League!

The legendary stars of English football, David Beckham and Gary Neville, have fully acquired the "Salford City" football club. For them, this project is not just a business, but an opportunity to create another history in the world of big football. The ultimate goal of the former "Manchester United" stars is to take the club to England's top division, the Premier League.

It is worth noting that Beckham and Neville were already co-founders of "Salford City." Along with them, their former teammates, known as the "Class of '92," including Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville, and Paul Scholes, also had stakes in the club. After this group purchased the club in 2014, the team achieved significant success, being promoted to higher leagues four times within five years.

However, in recent years, "Salford City" has stabilized in the Second Division. Now, new plans are being developed to elevate the club to a higher level. In this endeavor, Beckham and Neville have joined forces with other major investors of the club – Declan Kelly, founder of a prominent consulting company in the USA, and Lord Mervyn Davies, chairman of the British Tennis Association, to fully acquire the club.

In this process, their former partners Butt, Giggs, Phil Neville, and Scholes have relinquished their respective stakes. Currently, the new ownership group and other minor investors have allocated approximately $15–20 million to develop the club's sports, infrastructure, and other important areas.
