This was reported by *euro-football.ru*. During the investigation, another person – AFA treasurer Pablo Tovigino – is also considered a suspect.
The investigative authorities have prohibited both individuals from leaving the country. The questioning is scheduled to take place on March 5.
The case was opened based on information about the non-receipt of funds amounting to 13 million dollars to the state budget as social contributions. In addition, property under President Tapia's control, including a 10-hectare area and a helicopter landing pad, is also being inspected.
The prosecutor's office is also examining the amount of bonuses given to AFA football players. According to some information, these bonuses were found to be less than the expenses Tapia incurred for international flights.
The investigation is ongoing, and new details regarding the case are expected.
