AFA President Claudio Tapia summoned for investigation

Claudio Tapia, president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), was summoned for questioning by the prosecutor's office due to non-payment of social contributions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The "Euro-Football" publication reported this. In connection with this case, AFA treasurer Pablo Tovigino is also being considered a suspect.
Law enforcement agencies have banned both officials from leaving the country. The interrogation is scheduled to take place on March 5.
The investigation began based on allegations that AFA failed to transfer funds amounting to 13 million dollars to the state budget for social contributions. Additionally, Claudio Tapia's property, which includes a 10-hectare land with a helicopter landing pad, has also raised suspicions among law enforcement.
The prosecutor's office is also paying attention to the amount of bonuses allocated for football players. It has been revealed that these bonuses were significantly lower than the expenses incurred by Tapia during his official trips worldwide.
This discrepancy is causing questions.
