“Qo‘qon-1912” head coach: Defeat is not a tragedy, it's an experience
After the match between “Qoqon-1912” and “Nasaf” (0:2) in the 10th round of the Super League, the home team's head coach Bahrom Haydarov shared his thoughts on the team's performance, the conclusions from the game, and future plans at a press conference.
“We performed well against a tough opponent”
— “Nasaf” is one of the strongest teams in our country. It is not easy to resist them on the field. The guys made efforts, and we had opportunities as well. Life goes on, and we will not stop with this result. If chances are being created, it means we have the potential for growth, — said the coach.
“Getting 3 points against strong opponents is also important”
— In the last three rounds, we faced teams from the upper part of the table. Our goal was to collect more points in these games. Overall, we gathered 3 points. Of course, this is not a great result, but such games give us experience. Now both the fans and the management expect us to fight and win against any opponent. It is not necessary to draw strong conclusions after two defeats. We will continue to work.
“Beshimov was close to scoring”
At the press conference, there was also a question about Beshimov's opportunity to score in the first half:
— That situation was almost a certain goal. I thought the ball would go past the goalkeeper. However, the opponent's goalkeeper showed great skill. Such opportunities need to be finished reliably. Every situation in the penalty area in the Super League is of great importance. Beshimov is continuing to grow, and I believe he will have such opportunities again.
“We aim to gradually strengthen the team”
In response to a question about summer transfers, Haydarov said:
— We are a new team, and after entering the Super League, we added several new players to the squad. The team is becoming more cohesive. We will not make major changes, but we aim to strengthen one or two positions. There are options available, but I will not disclose their names for now. We will try to strengthen the necessary points based on the opportunities.
— Our current main goal is to develop the young players in our team. Players like Beshimov, Husanov, and Jo‘raboyev are our main foundation. If we can find stronger players than them, we will definitely bring them into the team, — said Bahrom Haydarov.
