Uzbek boxers won eleven medals at the Asian Championship

The Asian Boxing Championship for adults, held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, has concluded. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This prestigious competition was memorable for the intense rivalry, uncompromising bouts, and high technical skill displayed by the athletes. Members of the Uzbekistan men's and women's national teams who participated in this tournament demonstrated their high potential, winning a total of eleven medals in the overall team standings.
The three gold, four silver, and four bronze medals in our national team's tally once again proved how high the prestige of our country's boxing school is on the international stage. Our athletes who won gold medals performed consistently and confidently in their weight categories.
In particular, Abdulloh Madaminov in the 65 kg weight category, Fazliddin Erkinboyev in the 80 kg weight category, and Halimjon Mamasoliyev, who entered the ring in the 90 kg category, outperformed their opponents and took the top step of the podium. Additionally, Javohir Abdurahimov, Jasurbek Yoldoshev, Aziza Zokirova, and Ruxshona Parpiyeva performed worthily in the final bouts and were awarded silver medals.
Bronze medals were credited to Abdurahmon Mahmudjonov, Nigina Uktamova, Oysha Toirova, and Oltinoy Sotimboyeva. According to the One.uz website, the selfless work of the coaching staff lies behind this success.
Specialists such as Rahmatjon Ruziohunov, Ruslan Telimbayev, Ramzjon Ahmedov, Sherzodbek Ahmadjonov, Nursultan Burikhanov, Barbaro Fernandez Jimenez, Islom Tadjiboyev, Azim Khudoykulov, and Lazizbek Sharifjonov properly organized the athletes' preparation process. Doctor Dilshod Kazakov performed an important task in restoring the physical condition of the boxers.
