Our U-17 national team confidently stepped towards the World Cup by defeating Chile

The Uzbekistan U-17 national team continues its preparation for the World Championship through a training camp in South America. It is worth noting that during this camp, our young footballers have the opportunity to test themselves in international friendly matches.

On June 11, our team held a friendly match against the Chilean U-17 national team. In a match filled with intense and fierce struggles, our compatriots led by Islam Ismoilov won with a minimal score of 1:0.

The only and decisive goal of the match was scored by Azizbek Erimbetov in the 35th minute. His precise and powerful shot left the goalkeeper helpless and determined the final result.

This result provided our players with significant experience not only mentally but also tactically. It should be emphasized that such matches are an important preparation stage for participating adequately in the World Championship.

Our U-17 national team will take the field against Chile once again on June 13. After that, the team will participate in two friendly matches against the Bolivian U-17s on June 17 and 19.
