Zabolotniy met with the team for the first time at Spartak

Forward Anton Zabolotniy, who played for the "Himki" team last season, shared his thoughts on meeting the "Spartak" players for the first time. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the 34-year-old forward had transferred to the Moscow team. Zabolotniy noted that he felt a bit of surprise from the team members when they saw him in the "Spartak" jersey, but he believes that everyone will get used to this situation due to the upcoming training sessions. In an interview with the club's press service, he mentioned that he was warmly welcomed by the team and feels comfortable. Last season, Anton played for "Himki."

Their team finished in 12th place but could not remain in the Premier League due to financial difficulties. There is less than three weeks left until the first official match of the 2024/2025 season. Under the leadership of Dejan Stankovich, "Spartak" will take the field against Makhachkala's "Dinamo" in the first round of the Premier League.
