According to information provided by the club's press service, the 34-year-old forward spoke about giving his all for the team. It was previously reported that a one-year contract was signed between Zabolotniy and "Spartak." Last season, he played for the "Khimki" club near Moscow.
At the end of the 2024/2025 season, "Spartak" secured fourth place in the Russian championship. The team and its new forward have big goals ahead and they aim to continue to please their fans in the future.
