Spanish coach Frank Artiga commented on the financial difficulties faced by the Podmoskovye "Khimki" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It should be noted that "Khimki" finished the last season of the Russian championship in 12th place and remained in the top league based on sporting principles.

However, due to a debt amounting to nearly one billion rubles, they were unable to obtain a license to participate in the next season. The new season of the Russian Premier League is scheduled to start on July 18.
