Naumov: Pisarisk must have been given a life ban

Former president of Moscow's Lokomotiv club Nikolay Naumov commented on the four-year ban given to striker Vladimir Pisarisk, three years of which are conditional. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, it was correct to impose such a punishment, but Naumov stated that he preferred a lifetime ban. In his opinion, such actions are considered a disrespect to football, the team, society, and even to oneself.

Pisarisk's ban was imposed because he placed bets on a game involving his own team. This situation was accepted as a significant punitive measure due to its negative impact on the fairness of the team and football.

Last season, the 29-year-old striker played in two matches in the first division for the Sochi club, but did not stand out with his performance. Such situations demonstrate the need for serious measures to maintain the principles of integrity and fair competition in sports.
