Juventus is not planning to negotiate with Barcelona central defender Ronald Araujo. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Until the middle of this month, the Uruguayan player's contract includes a release clause of 65 million euros. Journalists Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano report that Juventus does not want to pursue Araujo and is not conducting any negotiations regarding his transfer.
The "Old Lady" team does not consider the central defender of the "sine-granat" team a priority target. Although Ronald Araujo attracted interest from Juventus in January, at that time he preferred to sign a new long-term contract with Barcelona.
Rumors about the 26-year-old player's move to Turin in June have resurfaced. However, currently, there are no official negotiations regarding this transfer, and there is no agreement between the teams.
Thus, Araujo remains not among Juventus' current transfer targets.
