The head coach of St. Petersburg's "Zenit" team, Vilyam de Oliveira, shared his thoughts about the team's new member, Brazilian midfielder Jerson. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the coach, Jerson differs technically from Claudinho. However, he is physically stronger, active in battles on the field, and moves quickly.
Jerson is capable of playing in various positions along the central line. The specialist announced this on the "Match Premier" television channel.
It was previously reported that Jerson's transfer cost the Petersburg club 25 million euros. The player has signed a long-term contract with the Russian club.
The new RPL season will start on July 18. In the first round, "Zenit" will play against the "Rostov" team.
