The contract lasts for two years. Damian shared a photo of the signing process on his social media, showing he was with his parents and wrote, "I am always grateful."

The young goalkeeper made his debut for the under-18 Czech national team at the age of 15. This happened in August 2023.

Previously, he played in the Chelsea academy. His father, Petr Čech, spent ten years at that very club.

Damian is continuing his football career following in his father's footsteps.
