On Tuesday, the 'Ahmat' club announced the return of striker Mohamed Konate to the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The player's agent, Dmitriy Selyuk, shared his thoughts on this matter. He works with the 27-year-old Burkina Faso player.

According to Selyuk, the agreement was reached quickly because the terms offered by 'Ahmat' were very favorable and could not be refused. At the same time, the agent noted that Konate had also received offers from clubs in Turkey and the UAE.

“We have a very close relationship with 'Ahmat', which is why he chose to return home. Konate is considered the best scorer in the history of 'Ahmat'.

He will increase his goal tally, and no one can leave him behind. Just as Dzyuba is significant in Russia, Konate holds the same importance at 'Ahmat',” Selyuk told the 'Championat' publication.

Konate scored a total of 34 goals for 'Ahmat' during three seasons from 2021 to 2024. In the first round of the new season, 'Ahmat' will play against the 'Rubin' team at home.
