Lokomotiv team's forward Aleksandr Rudenko shared his thoughts on the training camps held under coach Mikhail Galaktionov. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 26-year-old player initially found the training sessions difficult because the workload was different in his previous team, Khimki. There, a Spanish coach worked, and the training was mostly ball-related, with almost no running.
However, he noted that he ran much more after joining Lokomotiv's training camps. Last season, Rudenko played a total of 35 matches across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
In the first round of the new season, Lokomotiv will host the Sochi team at home. This match is expected to be interesting and important for the fans.
The team aims to achieve good results in the new season.
