A Colombian defender was offered to Spartak

The central defender of the Mexican team "Cruz Azul," Wilier Ditta, has been offered to the Moscow club "Spartak." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Metaratings, the "red-white" team was ready to spend 7-8 million euros to purchase the 27-year-old Colombian footballer. The club also considered the possibility of buying 80 percent of the player's rights for 5-6 million euros.

Ditta himself has expressed his readiness to come to Russia, but the "Spartak" sports department decided to consider other options as well. In the 2024/25 season, Ditta played a total of 48 matches in all competitions, providing one assist.

The first official match of the new RPL season will take place on July 19 between "Spartak" and the Makhachkala team "Dinamo." This match is considered an important milestone for the new season.

Negotiations between the club and the player are in the final stage, and further decisions will be announced in the coming days.
