
Former midfielder of Samarkand's 'Wings of the Soviets' team, Roman Yejov, signed a contract with another club in Russia. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 27-year-old player joined the new participant of the Russian championship, the 'Sochi' team. The contract signed with Yejov's new team will be valid until mid-2028.
The footballer will take the field wearing the number 29 jersey in his new team. Last season, Roman participated in 21 matches in the Russian Premier League, provided two assists, and received two yellow cards.
In the new season, the 'Sochi' team will start their game away against Moscow's 'Lokomotiv' on July 19. This match will be the team's first encounter in the new championship.
