According to her, the decision to expel Torpedo from the Premier League was unexpected. Smorodskaya emphasized that the Ural team should play instead and stated that the Zenit team is sufficient.

The expulsion of Torpedo from the league was carried out due to the attempts by the "autoworkers" to organize fixed matches in the previous season. The new season of the Russian Premier League will start on July 18.
