The new head coach of the "Milan" team, Massimiliano Allegri, will not sever ties with Portuguese striker Rafael Leau. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On the contrary, the team's former coach Fabio Kapello believes that he will be given broader powers. He expressed this opinion in an interview with the Italian publication La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
According to Kapello, Leau is currently 26 years old, which is a period of growth for an athlete. During this time, he can either prove himself or remain nobody.
Allegri should help him fully showcase his abilities. He recommends focusing more on finishing attacks, as Leau often breaks through the opponent's defense but makes mistakes in his shots.
For this reason, he will need a special training program, and even individual exercises may be performed after training. Kapello emphasizes that he used this method with Zlatan Ibrahimovic as well.
He hopes for a significant improvement in Leau's game quality. Rafael Leau has been active in the "Milan" team since 2019.
