Pinyaev was recognized as the best young football player in Eastern Europe
Former “Lokomotiv” team head coach Vladimir Eshtrekov shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview with the online publication “Evro-Futbol.ru” about Sergey Pinyaev being recognized as the best football player under 21 in Eastern Europe. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The International Center for Sports Studies (CIES) recognized Sergey Pinyaev as the best football player under 21 in Eastern Europe. This is an important and positive event not only for Sergey but also for the club.

Additionally, Matvey Kislyak from the “Army” team also made it into the top three in this ranking, which is good news. In the Russian championship, Aleksey Batrakov was recognized as the best among young football players.

Most importantly, our players are gaining attention on the international stage, even though they do not participate in international competitions. This means they are under observation, and this is a joyful situation for us.

Last season, Sergey Pinyaev played in 38 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists. These statistics are considered good.

Aleksey Batrakov stood out with 14 goals and 7 assists. These statistics are a good result for a young player, and he will continue to develop in the future.

Overall, the growth of our young talents and the attention given to them is important for us. Pinyaev is showing his growth at “Lokomotiv,” but he sometimes displays inconsistent performances.

He has reached a certain level, and now the most important thing is to support him. Some of his games are good, while others are average.

The key is to maintain growth and stability in the future. Every player goes through changes, but it is important to strive for more brilliant performances.

Matvey Kislyak also played well, won the competition, and showed stable performance. Of course, he also needs to improve in some aspects, and he understands this.

He is currently on the right path, and we believe he will continue to develop in the future. Interview prepared by: Elena Grigorievskaya
