Genich compared the experience of Karpin and Ranieri

Commentator Konstantin Genich, while discussing the simultaneous management of the Moscow "Dynamo" team by head coach Valery Karpin and the Russian national team, cited the example of "Roma" club head coach Claudio Ranieri. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Karpin started managing the national team in 2021 while also working at the "Rostov" club. He left the club in February 2025, but accepted the offer from "Dynamo" in June.

Ranieri stated that he had declined the offer from the Italian national team and decided to focus more on club matters. Genich emphasized in his Telegram channel that this opinion is merely a personal reflection and not a criticism or debate.

The Russian Football Union set a condition for Karpin: after the Russian national team returns to international competitions, he must leave "Dynamo." This situation illustrates the complex circumstances of the coach managing two teams.
