The international return of Russian football is still a dream

Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Dmitriy Svishchov commented on the words of the head of the Russian Football Union, Aleksandr Dyukov, regarding the quick return of Russian teams to international competitions. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Dyukov hopes that the teams will return to international fields by the end of 2025. As the deputy pointed out, Russian football today is almost unchanged from its state in 2022, and no changes have occurred in this regard yet.

In Svishchov's opinion, Dyukov may be aware of some nuances of the negotiations with FIFA and UEFA, but he is not sharing this information with the public. In the current situation, the return of Russian football to international competitions remains at the level of a dream, and this process will undoubtedly take some time.
