
Former France national team footballer Michel Platini was robbed on the morning of July 18. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to RTL, Platini woke up to the noise in his garden.
When he appeared, the thief immediately hid and took approximately twenty medals and trophies stored in a shed next to the house. The Marseille prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident, and the amount of damage is being determined.
Platini played for the France national team from 1976 to 1986. During this time, he became a European champion and won bronze medals at the World Cup.
From 2007 to 2015, he served as UEFA president but was forced to resign early due to corruption allegations. An official investigation is currently ongoing regarding the incident.
