Infrastructure requirements have been established for creating "model safe streets" and "model safe houses" to ensure the safety of residents in urban and rural areas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These requirements include the following. First, at night, the parts of the street where residents live and move must be fully illuminated.
Second, dead-end streets, inner lanes, and dark areas where crimes may occur must be partially illuminated. Third, parking lots for vehicles must comply with technical surveillance systems.
Additionally, the operation of illegal trading stalls on the streets will be regulated. Furthermore, unattended basements, attics, and garbage dumps must not exist.
In neighborhoods with vulnerable populations, tasks for implementing this project will be included with clear instructions in roadmaps developed quarterly and monthly at the neighborhood, district, and regional levels. Moreover, within the framework of the "Mahalla yettiligi" program, stickers indicating this social status will be installed at the start and end points of the "model safe streets" and "model safe houses".
These stickers serve to increase safety for residents, strengthen order and discipline, and demonstrate positive changes in society. Source: zamin.uz.
