The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has instructed the establishment of two "Uzbekistan – China Workshops" in each region to enhance the vocational skills of young people and ensure they have a stable source of income. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This initiative is recognized as one of the important measures aimed at reducing poverty and unemployment in local communities. As emphasized by the head of state, developing the manual labor skills and vocational qualifications of the younger generation is one of the priority directions of state policy.
By making young people skilled and creating opportunities for them to earn a stable income, it is possible to eliminate unemployment and poverty issues in local areas. For this purpose, during the state leader's visit to China, negotiations were held with heads of major companies in the fields of energy, geology, chemistry, transport, as well as agriculture and water management.
As a result, a package of promising projects worth 35 billion dollars was formed. It was emphasized that, alongside the introduction of technologies, it is necessary to train thousands of qualified personnel who are proficient in the Chinese language for the successful implementation of these projects.
To widely implement Chinese experience in the vocational training process, it is planned to open two workshops in each region. More than one hundred language teaching specialists and voluntary volunteers will be involved in these centers to teach the Chinese language in higher education institutions, technical schools, and schools.
This initiative will be an important factor not only in enhancing the professional potential of young people but also in adapting them to modern technologies and the demands of the international market. Source: zamin.uz
