The agenda of the meeting included discussions on the current state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation within the organization, and pressing issues of practical partnership were considered. The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the necessity of reforming the global governance system, enhancing the role of the UN and the Security Council, and strengthening the voice of developing countries in the international arena during the summit.
The negative impact of conflicts and wars in the Eurasian region on the Turkic Council member states was noted, and serious concerns were expressed regarding the Gaza Strip, Ukraine, Iran's nuclear program, and stability issues in Afghanistan. Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed organizing joint meetings of the foreign policy departments and heads of special services of the Turkic Council countries to conduct in-depth analysis of the global situation and make necessary decisions.
The first of these meetings is planned to be held next year in the city of Samarkand. To expand practical cooperation, it was proposed to develop a development strategy for the Turkic Council until 2030 and a roadmap for its implementation.
These documents outline specific directions such as developing trade and economic relations, deepening industrial cooperation, and implementing projects within the framework of the Turkic Investment Fund. The Council may establish a Project Office in Tashkent.
Additionally, the importance of establishing a Turkic States Industrial Alliance, introducing the "Turkic Green Corridors" electronic system to increase mutual trade volume, and strengthening cooperation in "green" energy and technologies was emphasized. Producing value-added products from raw materials is also among the main tasks.
To ensure food security, it is necessary to intensify scientific research on the production and supply of organic agricultural products. In the transport sector, the development of the Middle Corridor, the introduction of modern infrastructure, and digital customs systems are planned.
Initiatives in this direction will be discussed at the International Multimodal Transport Forum to be held in Tashkent on November 12. Improving financial instruments, expanding the activities of the Turkic Investment Fund, and adopting a strategic cooperation program with international financial institutions are also envisaged.
Special attention will be paid to the development of artificial intelligence, digitalization, and the creative economy for sustainable development. Cooperation in education and science will be taken to a new level, with plans to chair the Union of Turkic Universities and hold the "Turkic Science and Innovation Days."
Furthermore, the launch of the Turkic States International University and the development of a joint research support program are planned. To prevent the spread of alien and destructive ideas among youth, it was proposed to adopt an Action Plan to combat extremist and radical ideologies.
Uzbekistan will continue dialogue against Islamophobia. The importance of developing joint measures to raise ecological awareness among youth was also emphasized.
