Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Mongolia has concluded
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's state visit to Mongolia concluded on June 25. This visit, the first in history, has initiated a new phase in Uzbekistan-Mongolia relations and opened up broad opportunities for the development of multifaceted cooperation.
The head of state held negotiations on June 24 in Ulaanbaatar with President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh in both a narrow and expanded format. The prospective directions for practical cooperation, primarily the issues of developing cooperation in trade, economy, and industry, were discussed.
In the end, a joint declaration on establishing comprehensive partnership relations was signed.
The presidents participated in a joint concert of artists from both countries with their spouses.
On June 25, the head of state, along with his spouse, visited the "Ix Tenger" complex. The presidents and first ladies planted a tree together. The traditional "Naadam" games were watched.
After the events of the visit concluded, the President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent. At the airport, the high-ranking guests were seen off by Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Batmunkh Batsetseg and other official figures.
