A Nile crocodile was found in a blogger's house in Tashkent
A recently circulated video on social media has generated significant interest and astonishment among the public — it shows a citizen living in Tashkent keeping a Nile crocodile in his home. This situation has attracted the attention not only of internet users but also of official organizations, particularly the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.

In response to this incident, the ministry conducted an urgent investigation. During the inspection process, it became clear that the event was real: the blogger had been keeping a Nile crocodile in his living room without any permits. This situation was assessed by the relevant authorities as a violation of the law.

Legal Responsibility
Based on the results of the raid, an administrative report was formalized against the blogger in accordance with part 1 of Article 92-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The documents were collected and sent to the judicial authorities for a proper legal assessment and action.

Although the identity of the blogger has not yet been publicly disclosed, his illegal activities have sparked numerous discussions. The Nile crocodile taken from his home has been temporarily handed over to the Tashkent Zoo.

The Nile Crocodile — A Dangerous and Protected Species
The Nile crocodile is one of the widely distributed animals in Africa, known for its predatory nature and large size. Keeping them in captivity requires special conditions, large areas, and sufficient biological resources. Therefore, keeping such animals in domestic conditions is not only dangerous but also illegal.

The rules for keeping, breeding, or displaying such animals are clearly defined in Uzbekistan's legislation. According to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision No. 736, which will come into effect on January 1, 2025, the keeping of wild animals by individuals and their use in circus performances is strictly prohibited.

Public Reactions
This incident has led to heated discussions on social media. Some criticized the blogger as a "showman" trying to attract public attention through his activities, while others emphasized that such actions should only be restricted by law.

Ecologists are assessing this situation as a threat to ecological balance. When the natural boundary between wildlife and humans is violated, it can lead to disastrous consequences not only for humans but also for the animals themselves.

Conclusion: Every Citizen Must Be Responsible
This situation reminds us all of an important truth: disobeying the law poses a threat not only to individual safety but also to societal security, especially in the relationship between wildlife and humans.

Having love and interest for animals is good, but it must be done within the framework of the law. Crocodiles, predatory birds, or other wild animals are not our objects of affection or experimentation — they have their own natural habitats and protections.

Now, the judicial authorities will provide a clear assessment of this case. We hope that this situation serves as a lesson for others.
