It has been determined that weather conditions were a significant factor in the crash of an An-24 passenger plane near the city of Tynda in Russia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Vadim Zavodchenkov, a specialist from the "Fobos" weather center, emphasized in an interview with the "Russia 24" television channel that there were low cloud conditions in Tynda at the time of the incident. In some areas, the cloud base dropped to 300 meters, which, while not dangerous for average flights, could pose difficulties for the aircraft due to Tynda's location among the mountains.
The mountain peaks were covered with clouds, hindering the effective operation of the crew. Therefore, weather conditions are considered one of the factors that led to the plane's crash.
It has been reported that approximately 50 people died in the accident that occurred last night. Currently, investigations are ongoing regarding the details of the incident.
This incident once again highlighted the necessity of carefully studying weather conditions for aircraft flying in mountainous areas.
