Evacuation started due to a strong storm in the Philippines

Its impact area covers almost all regions of the country. According to meteorologists' forecasts, the storm may directly hit the island of Catanduanes in the eastern part of the country.
Since Sunday morning, heavy rains, winds, and floods have been observed on the island. Due to the emergency situation, the government decided to temporarily close schools and government institutions, including organizations in Manila city, on Monday.
Additionally, nearly 300 flights across the country were canceled. Due to the storm threat, the population is being urged to remain vigilant.
