Starting from September 2, 2023, "Uzbekneftegaz" Joint Stock Company has completely stopped the sale of AI-80 gasoline in stock exchange trading. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This decision is part of the company's new strategy aimed at increasing the supply of quality fuel in the domestic market. From now on, the sales volume of high-octane AI-92 gasoline has been significantly increased instead of AI-80.
Previously, approximately 1000 tons of AI-92 gasoline were sold on the exchange, but now this figure has been raised to 1720 tons. The company stated that, due to the increased demand in the domestic market, there are possibilities to further increase the gasoline volume if necessary.
Additionally, "Uzbekneftegaz" emphasized that all contracts concluded with customers who purchased AI-80 gasoline in August will be fulfilled. The remaining fuel will be delivered to buyers in September based on previous agreements.
This demonstrates the company's responsible approach towards its customers.
