LandRoads company has published the results of a study on the quality of new energy vehicles (NEVs) produced in China. The brand that faced the least problems was Mercedes-Benz, while BYD and Zeekr demonstrated above-average reliability ratings.
The company developed a risk index for product quality by surveying over 7,800 owners of 67 NEV brands in China. The lower the index, the more reliable the vehicle is considered.
LandRoads' reliability ranking of Chinese electric vehicles:
Mercedes-Benz – 33 points (most reliable)
Xiaomi SU7 – 79 points
BMW – 80 points
Arcfox – 93 points
These four brands are the only manufacturers with a risk index below 100.
The overall average score is 186. Among the brands below this figure are BYD (151) and Zeekr (175), which are popular in Uzbekistan. Above them are Wuling (204), Deepal (205), and Chery (241).
