Leapmotor is officially planning to start operations in Uzbekistan, as reported by the Nova24.uz website.
According to the information from the technical regulation agency, on April 13, 2025, the Chinese Leapmotor brand acknowledged that C16 model cars were imported into Uzbekistan through unofficial distributors and expressed its readiness to address existing issues.
The company has now announced that it will only operate through official distributors. No official warranty and service will be provided by the company for illegally imported vehicles.
Additionally, a technical audit will be conducted at the manufacturing plant with the participation of UzTest specialists, and the new B10EV and B10EREV models will be tested. An introductory tour of the laboratories will also be organized for the Uzbekistan delegation.
Furthermore, the brand announced that it will soon complete testing processes to obtain the OTTS certificate.
Leapmotor intends to establish cooperation with UzTest aimed at strengthening quality control. This collaboration will serve to ensure the safety of vehicles and compliance with technical requirements.
UzTest welcomed the company's initiative and expressed its desire to continue active cooperation.
