Tohir Sodiqov: "Virtues are more important when choosing a groom"

Renowned singer Tohir Sodiqov, who holds a unique place in Uzbek art, shared his views on choosing a groom as a father who has married off two daughters. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In one of his interviews, he expressed sincere thoughts about child upbringing, family values, and issues important for future generations. According to Tohir Sodiqov, he raised his daughters as individuals who think independently and can find their own path in life.
He says: “I raised my daughters in such a way that they grew up with the ability to make independent choices. They married the people they love.” According to the artist, when choosing a groom, a person's inner world and virtues are more important than appearance or material wealth.
He believes that a young man's humanity, temperament, and character should be the main criteria. Tohir Sodiqov emphasizes that in the process of choosing a groom, human qualities should be prioritized over concepts like ‘necessary’ or ‘unnecessary’.
He identifies mutual respect, a healthy character, and good relationships as the main conditions for building a strong family. According to the singer, these very aspects make a family stable and happy.
