
In March 2025, economic growth and activity increased in all regions of Uzbekistan, according to kursiv.media — this was reported by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (TsEIR).
Compared to the same month last year, total tax revenues increased by 19.6%. In Tashkent city, this figure reached 49.6%. Additionally, Tashkent and Namangan regions ranked among the leaders. The growth in tax revenues was primarily driven by personal income tax and property tax.
The volume of loans increased by an average of 53.7%. The regions of Syrdarya, Tashkent, Namangan, and Surkhandarya stood out with significant growth in lending.
In March, over 19,400 new firms and individual entrepreneurs were registered. In this regard, Tashkent, Tashkent region, and Khorezm region led the way.
Commodity exports increased by 7.1%. Surkhandarya, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions excelled in exports.
The trading volume at the Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UzRTSB) increased by 30% compared to last year.
