Yegor Teslenko, a player of Kazan's "Rubin" team, who was trained at Krasnodar's "Kuban" club, shared his memories about this club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that when he started his career at "Kuban," the team was in good shape and participated in the Europa League competition. There were many skilled and young players in the club.
Unfortunately, the club later fell apart. Teslenko also emphasized that he is very sorry that the club, which was disbanded in 2018 and re-established a year later, has not been able to regain its previous status.
It should also be noted that the current team playing in the second division under the name "Kuban" is not the successor of the former "Urozhay" club. Fans who bought the brand rights restored the team and registered it for regional competitions.
Thus, the new "Kuban" team is not legally connected to the historical club.
