The defender of Kazan's Rubin team, Yegor Teslenko, stated that he could have stayed in the CSKA youth team at that time, but he chose a different path. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He mentioned that at that time, the CSKA management and coaching staff preferred to involve younger players in the main squad. Teslenko noted that he received an offer from the Second League team KAMAZ and believes that it was better to go that way.
In the 2024/2025 season, Teslenko played a total of 33 matches in the Russian championship and Cup, scoring three goals and providing two assists. Currently, the 24-year-old player's contract with Rubin is set to last until June 30, 2029.
His market value is two million euros.
