Initially, Manchester United demanded 50 million euros for the player's transfer, but the price was lowered during negotiations. Additionally, Manchester United's head coach Ruben Amorim did not consider Marcus Rashford a necessary player for the team.

In the second half of last season, the forward played on loan at Aston Villa. This transfer is expected to take the player's career to a new level.
